Birds are preparing for winter now. Forecasters are predicting a colder and snowier winter than last year. Of course, these are just predictions. However, birds are aware of the declining temperatures and the shorter days, which indicate winter is coming. Caching seeds are common right now. Be sure to keep your feeders full and your baths clean. Fresh water is just as important as quality foods.
